Superintendent Hawkins is an accomplished educational leader with a unique blend of expertise in both finance and academic administration. With 16 years of experience spanning public education and financial management, Superintendent Hawkins brings a strategic, data-driven approach to district leadership.

Superintendent Hawkins began his career in finance, working as an accountant, VP of Business Affairs, and later as a Chief Financial Officer. In 2023, Mr. Hawkins was named the CEO/Superintendent of George Gervin Youth Center/Academy. Superintendent Hawkins holds his Bachelor’s in Finance with a minor in Spanish, and a MBA from the University of Texas Pan American at forward (U.T.R.G.V.).
