Young Fathers Reconnect Project
The Young Fathers Reconnect Project is a mentoring program designed to help young men strengthen their relationships with their children. Young Fathers Reconnect reaches out to young fathers in pre- and post-release status. Our program provides every young father with a consistent and caring mentor who will provide support and guidance as they transition back into the community.
Our Goals and Objectives
Promote responsible fatherhood by targeting comprehensive transitional services designed to improve responsible parenting, family engagement, life skills and self-sufficiency.
Improve outcomes for young fathers, their children, and family members by improving young fathers' academic achievement (high school diploma/GED completion, post-secondary enrollment, etc.).
Strengthen and increase the involvement and parenting skills of young fathers through healthy relationships and responsible parenting activities.
