George "Iceman" Gervin, is a former NBA player of the San Antonio Spurs and a member of the NBA Hall of Fame.

 

 

The George Gervin Youth Center, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, incorporated in 1991. Our mission is to provide innovatively designed, comprehensive, as well as culturally sensitive services to impact the lives of troubled youth and their families. The primary focus of our programs is to assess and meet the individual needs of the whole person, specifically aimed at the needs of at-risk and disadvantaged youth. Our vision is to ultimately resolve critical issues surrounding family relationships, school achievement, social attitude, employment, teen pregnancy, substance abuse, drug trafficking, teen suicide, school/neighborhood/gang violence, self esteem, and homelessness.
