About Us

George Gervin Academy was founded 30 years ago as a first generation public charter school for Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade scholars in San Antonio, Texas. We are proud to have earned the accountability rating
of Met Standard, the highest rating possible! Our scholars meet or exceed state target scores for student achievement, student progress, closing performance gaps, and postsecondary readiness.

Early Release Friday, March 6th @ 12 PM

Hello Parents and Guardians,

Friday, March 6, 2026, Pre-K to 12th Grade will be dismissed at 12:00 PM. All buses will depart from campus at 12:15 PM. Also, there will be no after school care this Friday. All classes will resume on Monday, March 16th 2026. Please be safe and enjoy your Spring Break.
